Several months ago we added a render gallery to the site and showed how the interior of the halls in the KANDINSKY Odessa Residence will look like. Today we are making a small update of the publication and will tell you more about the decoration of public spaces.
One of our wishes for the design of the entrance group is that it should correspond to the architectural style of the houses and emphasize their avant-garde mood. The architects from the YODEZEEN studio took it into account and developed a project that clearly follows the features of suprematism. They suggested combining simple geometric shapes and different surface textures, and using natural materials of warm colors — beige, brown, soft shade of light gray — to decorate the entrance lobby. Plants, furniture and original chandeliers will become bright accents of the interior. In particular, the chairs of the Italian brand Cassina and original chandeliers from Flos will complement the public space.
Among the materials for decorating the halls, we chose natural stone, veneer panels and brass elements.
One of the lobby walls will house dynamic art with simple geometric shapes. They will also be used in the elements of the entrance group — the wall near the registration counter will have this shapes, the chandelier with straight lines. The architects managed to interpret the paintings of Wassily Kandinsky, after whom our complex is named, and fill the space with details that will emphasize the concept of the project.
